Welcome to haileyshopefoundation.org

Hailey’s Hope Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in loving memory of Hailey, the daughter of Isaac and Donna Zion. Hailey was born prematurely at 21 weeks on January 3, 2003 and passed away shortly after birth.

Our mission is to help families with premature and seriously ill babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Hailey’s Hope Foundation carries out this mission by providing financial support and resources to families in need to help ease their burden during this critical time. We know first hand the overwhelming challenges families face with a NICU hospitalization. It is an
incredibly stressful, costly, and emotional time. We want to use what we have learned through our loss and experiences to help families during their NICU stay and transition home. Please know you are not alone.

Currently, we are working with the Regional Neonatal Center at the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital (at Westchester Medical Center) in Valhalla, New York. This premier facility annually manages nearly 60% of all newborns in the region, treating approximately 650 sick infants, 225 infants weighing below 3 pounds, and 100 infants weighing less than 2 pounds.
