It was a beautiful evening as guests gathered to support Hailey’s Hope Foundation’s Second Annual Dinner Auction Fundraiser on September 25, 2010 at  Harness Racing Museum in Goshen, New York.  Sponsored by Delancey’s Restaurant, the successful event raised over $11,000 to help fund programs that benefit families with premature and seriously ill babies hospitalized in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York.

Guests enjoyed a beautiful historic setting, delicious food, drinks and great conversations.  Many guests tried their luck at winning fantastic silent auction and raffle items, including a fabulous Disney Trip and a once-in-a-lifetime Rangers Package.

Special guest Camtu Duong, a former NICU mom, shared her daughter’s miraculous story and how Hailey’s Hope Foundation helped get her through her family’s long and difficult journey.  Ms. Duong’s story touched the hearts of all of those in attendance.  “It is so inspiring how Hailey’s Hope Foundation helps NICU families.  This event proves how passionate they are about addressing a need that often goes unsupported,” said guest Meredith Char.

The event was generously supported by numerous in-kind donors including Sharp Business Systems, The Siegel Family, Walt Disney World, Richard Rosenfelt, The Zions, The Decina Family, Janice Robins, Ciao Bella Salon, Serenity Day Spa, High Withers Wine & Spirits, The Golf Club at Mansion Ridge, Star Wines& Liquors, ShopRite of Monroe, Stop & Shop of Monroe, Starbucks of Middletown, Only Nine Apparel, Monster Mini Golf, The Castle Fun Center, and Orange Magazine.

To date, Hailey’s Hope Foundation has helped over 350 families in 11 different counties, especially towns in Orange County such as Middletown, New Hampton, Monroe, Harriman, New Windsor, Newburgh, Campbell Hall, Walden, Pine Bush, Warwick, and Highland Mills.
