FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

HAILEY’S HOPE FOUNDATION’S FIVE YEAR CELEBRATION – A GREAT SUCCESS!

(Goshen, NY–September 26, 2013)  Over 145 guests joined Hailey’s Hope Foundation at their Dinner Auction Fundraiser on Saturday, September 7th at Palacio in Goshen to celebrate their 5 year anniversary supporting NICU families.  The event raised over $32,000 to benefit families with premature and critically ill babies in Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown and other New York area Neonatal ICUs (NICUs).  Funds raised will enable HHF to continue to bring vital financial, emotional and educational support programs to families to help them cope during their NICU crisis and give their babies a greater fighting chance.

It was a beautiful evening as guests enjoyed great conversations, entertaining music and delicious food and drinks.  President, Jeff Randazzo, reflected on the successes of HHF over the past five  years and highlighted its new initiatives for the near future.  One of the the evening’s memorable moments was the introduction of HHF’s 1,000th NICU family helped–The Bruno Family from Chester.  Katie Bruno shared her family’s remarkable story of overcoming heartache and tragedy to celebrating the birth of their premature son, Dominic. Her emotional story and NICU experience touched the hearts of everyone.

Many local sponsors generously supported the event, including our Participating Sponsors–Rowley Development Corp. and The Rowley Family, and our Guest Gifts Sponsor:  The Pucci Family.  The businesses and families who graciously donated auction and raffle prizes and advertised in HHF’s online journal, greatly contributed to the success of the event.

Since its inception in December 2007, HHF has raised over $725,000, provided support to over 1,300 NICU families in numerous New York counties, and provided NICUs with essential equipment to help them improve their quality of care.  HHF is partnered with the Regional Neonatal Center at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital (Westchester Medical Center) in Valhalla and Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, NY.
