HAILEY’S HOPE FOUNDATION’S EVENT A SUCCESS
(Goshen, NY—August 12, 2009) Hailey’s Hope Foundation held its First Dinner Auction Fundraiser on July 25, 2009 at Delancey’s Restaurant in Goshen. Guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner, exciting raffles and great music. The event raised more than $5,000 to help fund its Financial Support Program (FSP) which provides financial assistance to NICU families in need at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital (Westchester Medical Center) in Valhalla, New York.
The event drew a great, fun crowd. One of the many highlights of the night was the attendance by Edward A. Diana, Orange County Executive. Mr. Diana, who had a personal connection with prematurity and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), said he wanted to show his support and praise the work Hailey’s Hope Foundation is doing for NICU families.
The event was generously supported by many in-kind donors, including Sharp Electronics Corporation, the Golf Club at Mansion Ridge, American Girl Place, Dangerfield’s Comedy Club, Subtle Energies Holistic Health Center, Big Apple Circus, Select Express and Logistics Courier Service, ShopRite and Home Depot. Contributing to the event’s success was the entertaining venue, great food and friendly service provided by Joe Betro and Delancey’s Restaurant.
Hailey’s Hope Foundation is excited to implement a new Welcome Home Discharge Bag Program in the near future for all NICU families at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital to help them transition their babies home.
